Nepal Boxing Association

In continuation towards the development of Boxing, Nepal Olympic Committee has rewarded to Nepal Boxing Association to conduct the Olympic Solidarity Technical course for coaches (AIBA One Star coaches course) in Boxing. The Course was stared on 09 May 2014 and concluded on 13 June 2014. Altogether 22 enthusiastic coaches from various part of country have participated in the courses. The course was conducted by the three stars AIBA Instructor Mr. Indrasena RUBASINGHE KANKANAMGE (SRI) During the inauguration of the program, President of Nepal Olympic Committee emphasis the importance of the course towards the Development of Boxing in the country. IOC Diploma has been distributed by the NOC President Mr. Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan to all the participants. As per the program in 2014 June 13, the practical and theory examination have been given by all the participants that have been already dispatched to the AIBA for the final result. The President of Nepal Boxing Association Mr. Rajiv Shrestha said that we are looking forward for the continue cooperation and support from NOC and AIBA for the bright future of boxing in Nepal.

Nepal Swimming Association, FINA Coaches Clinic

FINA Swimming Coaches Clinic was organized by Nepal Swimming Association on the aegis of Nepal Olympic Committee at Nepal Olympic Building Satdaobato, Lalitpur from 8th-13th June 2014. The clinic was inaugurated by NOC Secretary General Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha. There were 40 participants from the different Club and school. Mr. Tapan Kumar Panigrahi from India was nominated from FINA As the lecture for the clinic. President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan distributed certificate to all participants during the closing ceremony.

मिति २०७१ असार ४ गते यहि जुन २९ तारिखका दिन दक्षिण अफ्रिकाको पिटरमाटिज वर्गमा आयोजना हुन गइरहेको द्दण्ज्ञद्ध ग्ऋक्ष् mयगलतबष्ल दष्पभ mबचबतजयल धयचमि अजबmउष्यलकजष्उ मा नेपालका चार साइकिलिङ खेलाडीहरुको सहभागीता हुने जानकारी गराउन चाहान्छौं । सो प्रतियोगितामा नेपालका चार राष्ट्रिय खेलाडीहरुको सहभागी हुने छ । सहभागी हुने खेलाडीमा अजय पण्डित श्रेत्री, नारायण गोपाल महर्जन, राजकुमार श्रेष्ठ र बुद्धिबहादुर तामाङ्ग रहेका छन् । यी चारै जना गत बर्ष मलेसियामा सम्पन्न छनोट प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी भइ छनोट भएका खेलाडी हुन् ।यी खेलाडीहरु असार ६ गतेका दिन दक्षिण अफ्रिकातर्फ प्रस्थान गर्दै छन् । नेपालका साइकिलिङ खेलाडीहरुले वल्र्ड च्याम्पियनसिपमा सहभागीता गरेको यो दोस्रो पल्ट हो । यस अघि फ्रान्समा भएको वल्र्ड च्याम्पियनसिपमा नेपाली खेलाडी निर्जला ताम्राकारको सहभागीता रहेको थियो । सो प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी हुन नेपाली खेलाडीहरुले विगत केहि महिना देखि प्रशिक्षण लिइरहेका छन् । प्रशिक्षणका लागि नेपाली प्रशिक्षक श्री अजयनरसिंह राणाले राष्ट्रिय रुपमा प्रशिक्षण प्रदान गरि राख्नु भएको छ भने नेपाली साइकिलिङ खेलाडीका

ने.ओ.क. का अध्यक्षज्यूबाट पौडी टोलीको बिधाई । काठमाण्डौ, आषाढ २ गते । यही सन् २०१४ जुन १८ तारीख देखि २८ तारीख सम्म कतारको दोहामा हुने Asian Youth Development Camp मा सहभागीताका लागि नेपालका पौडी खेलाडीहरु सुश्री सोफिया शाह, श्री शिरिष गुरुङ्ग र प्रशिक्षक श्री ओंगडेन लामाको नाम नेपाल ओलम्पिक कमिटीबाट सिफारिस गरिए अनुरुप वहाँहरु भोलि त्यस तर्फ प्रस्थान गर्नु हुनेछ । आज नेपाल ओलम्पिक कमिटीका अध्यक्ष श्री ध्रुब बहादुर प्रधानबाट वहाँहरुलाई ओलम्पिक कमिटीका कार्यालय सातदोबाटोमा विधाई गर्नु भयो । उक्त प्रशिक्षणका लागि ने.ओ.क. ले ओलम्पिक काउन्सिल अफ एशिया सँग अनुरोध गरेको थियो । उक्त प्रशिक्षणको सम्पूर्ण खर्च ओलम्पिक काउन्सिल अफ एशियाले व्योहोर्ने छ ।

All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association, Olympic Solidarity Technical Courses for coaches in Lawn Tennis

In order to provide the basics training to coaches and update new rules and regulations of the International Federation (IF), All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association has successfully organized the Olympic Solidarity Technical course for coaches (ILTF Level One) that supported by the Nepal Olympic Committee. The Course was stared on 29 May 2014 and concluded on 9 June 2014. Altogether 24 enthusiastic coaches were participated in the courses. The course was conducted by the three star experts Mr. Suresh Kumar from India. In accordance to the course, it included theory, practical & examination portion. At the end of the program President of Nepal Olympic Committee distributed the diploma to the participants.

On the auspicious of commemoration of Modern Olympic Games, NOC/ Nepal is planning to organize ten days with Fifteen different Programs. The First day there were 500 cyclist during the cycle rally On Saturday in 14th June 2014.

NATIONAL OLYMPIC ACADEMY (NOA) OF nEPAL

National Olympic Academy (NOA) has been re-formed under National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Nepal on January, 2014. It is formed to extend olympic movement and education in olympism to propagate the ideas of discipline, peace and brotherhood associated with them. NOA executes by the board of 9 members. As a start-up program, NOA has been organizing an orientation program, "Know about Olympism", to all the concern people.
