Felicitation Program By Honorable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari to Gaurika Singh

A felicitation program was held in Sital Niwas where Honorable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari felicitated the youngest Olympian in Rio Olympics Ms. Gaurika Singh with a bouquet of flower.
On the occasion, President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha provided the details about the participation of Nepali Athletes in Rio Olympics.
Honorable President Bhandari said she was keeping an eye on the youngest athlete in this Olympic and expressed her delight to meet her. She advised NOC to prepare the Athletes for the 2020 Olympics slated to be held on Tokyo, Japan. She wished best wishes to Ms. Gaurika and also said that she will support for the development of sports in Nepal.
In the Program Mr. Ashok Bajracharya( President of Swimming Association and member of NOC), Mr. Nilendra Shrestha(member of NOC), Mr. Niraj Shrestha, Mr. Mahesh Acharya(President of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum) and family members of Ms. Gaurika Singh were also present.
