Athletes and coaches on Olympic scholarships and wild cards have been vaccinated against COVID 19 on Sunday at the initiative of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
Players and coaches of Karate, Judo, Shooting, Athletics and Boxing have been vaccinated at Patan Hospital. Similarly, Archery and Weightlifting players and coaches were vaccinated in Pokhara.
Swimmers have already been vaccinated. The 32nd Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
Officials and staff of the Olympic Committee are also among those receiving the vaccine.
