Olympian Phupu Lama Khatri to Japan for the preparation of 2020 Tokyo Olympic

President of Nepal Olympic Committee/ Member of Parliament Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to Olympian Phupu Lama Khatri for the preparation of Tokyo Olympic 2020 sponsored by Olympic Solidarity.
Miss Phupu is traveling to Japan today for the advance training of Judo. She will be training as well as continuing her studies in Japan for 2 years and 3 month. She has already represented Nepal in Rio Olympics Games 2016.
President of Nepal Judo Association Mr. Deepak Harsha Bajracharya said that this was possible due to talks with the Japan Olympic Committee, All Japan Judo Federation and Kodokan Judo Institute. He also thanked NOC for there continues support.
Honorable Shrestha gave his best wishes to Miss Phupu and suggested her to concentrate and stay focused on Tokyo Olympic 2020. Honorable Shrestha added that this time NOC will try its best to qualify for the 2020 Olympics rather that depending solely on wildcards.
