Farewell to Weight Lifting Athlete by President of NOC

President of NOC/Member of Parliament Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha was the chief guest for the farewell of the participants from Weight Lifting Game in the NOC Building Satdobato, Lalitpur. Mr. Sagar Bhandari (Athlete) and Mr. Anil Mishra (Coach) are going to participate in the Youth and Junior Asian Championship in Urgench, Uzbekistan from April 20 to 30. This is one of the Youth Olympic Qualification games.
President Hon’able Shrestha gave best wishes to the participant and congratulated the Weightlifting association for building an Academy in Nepalgunj which will help discover new athletes and help the current athletes as well. Hon’able Shrestha also presented the participants with tracksuits.
Mr. Sagar is 16 years old and is participating in above 94 Kg weight Category. In the program Secretary General of Weight lifting association Mr. Partha Sarathi Sengupta(Mithu Guru) was also present.
