Nepal Olympic Committee conducted a meeting with the representatives of associated sports associations and Chairperson of Sports for All Commission Bishnu Gopal Shrestha. The meeting was held to talk about the yearly event, Olympic Day. This year, Olympic Day is slated to be held on June 17- June 23.
In the meeting President of NOC Jeevan Ram Shrestha requested all the associations to actively participate and celebrate the Olympic Day and also suggested to perform at least one activity. He added that Olympic day is not just for the employees of the Olympic committee or the associations; it is for all the people who are directly or indirectly affiliated with sports.
The meeting concluded with number of association ready to perform respective tournaments and events. Mr. Bishnu Gopal Shrestha requested them to submit conformation of the different events till Wednesday. Nepal Olympic Committee will provide certificate to all the participants and medals to the tournament winners.
