National Sports Council (Government Sports body) of Nepal Violated IOC Charter and FINA Statute
Against the IOC Charter and FINA Statute National Sports Council (Government Sports body) has interfered elected body of Nepal Swimming Association headed by Mr. Pragun Shumsher Rana and Ashok Bajracharya as its President and Secretary General respectively duly recognized by the International Swimming Federation, Asian Swimming Federation and Nepal Olympic Committee.
At the national level the autonomy and independence of National Federation has to be protected by the National Olympic Committee. Violation of Olympic Charter and FINAStatute by the Nepalese Sports Governing body has been protected by NOC Nepal and thus has continued its support and recognition of Nepal Swimming Association lead by president Mr. Rana and Secretary General Mr. Bajracharya.
