Under Olympic Solidarity Program "Sportsnepal.org" was launched

President of NOC Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha launched sportsnepal.org website of Nepal Olympic Museum today with the support of Nepal Olympic Committee under the Olympic Solidarity Program. This is the first stage of Digital archive where collection of materials connected to the history of Nepali sports was being collected and archived from a long time by Olympic Museum. For this, 15 thousand dollars were obtained from the Solidity program.
On the program NOC President Shrestha congratulated Mr. Chitiz Arun Shrestha, President of Nepal Olympic Museum said that this website will help build the bridge between our previous athletes and the new generation of athlete. Secretary General Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha said that the continuation of these type of programs is very important and added that we should keep updating it. Vice President and Executive Director of NOC Mr. Chaturananda Raj Shrestha praised the work of Olympic Museum and said that it is extremely important to archive history programs for Nepali Sports.
In the program Vice President Ms. Jyoti Rana, Mr. Ashok Ratna Bajracharya, Secretary Ms. Tulshi Thapa and Members Mr. Ram Awale and Mr. Ramesh Shiwakoti were present.
