Sports Gear distribution to Athletics Athlete to compete in Tokyo Olympic

President of NOC Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha on behalf of Nepal Olympic Committee provided Mr. Gopi Chandra Parki with Training Shoes, Running Spike and Competition Shoes for the preparation to compete in Tokyo Olympic 2020.
Mr. Gopi Chandra Prakhi is the only athlete to be confirmed for the upcoming Olympic Games in August 2021 until now. He finised 1st in the 6th Nepalgunj Marathon on 21st November, 2020.
President Honorable Shrestha said that he must aim to at least break the South Asian record previously held by Mr. Baikuntha Manandhar. He gave best wishes to the athelte and coach Mr. Santosh Shrestha and said that the NOC is planning to send them to Hokkaido for 3 month Training. He also added "we are providing our Athletes with the best running equipments."
In the Program Secretary General of NOC Mr. Nildendra Raj Shrestha, Vice President Ms. Jyoti Rana, Vice President Mr. Ashok Bajracharya, Vice President Mr. Chaturanada Raj Baidhya, Member Mr. Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati and Member Mr. Ramesh Prasad Shiwakoti were present.
