Farewell to participants of the World Aquatics Championship held in Doha, Qatar, 2024

President of the Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, accompanied by Secretary General Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha, bid farewell to the Nepali contingent participating in the World Aquatics Championship held in Doha, Qatar, 2024.

The Nepali team, led by notable players such as Alexander Gadegaard Shah, Nasir Yahya Hussain, Duana Lama, and Gaurika Singh, received warm wishes and encouragement from the NOC officials as they participate in Olympic Qualifing Game.

The team's coach, Shankar Karki, and team manager, Ranjan Bhattarai, were also part of the delegation bidding farewell to the athletes.

Additionally, President of Nepal Swimming Association(NSA) Mr. Ashok Ratna Bajracharya and Member of NSA Mr. Paras Shrestha, , are representing Nepal at the Asia Aquatics Extraordinary General Congress, highlighting Nepal's active participation and involvement in aquatic sports at regional and international levels.

The NOC officials expressed confidence in the Nepali athletes' abilities and wished them success in their endeavors, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, dedication, and representing the nation with pride on the global stage.
