Nepal Olympic Committee organized a mourning program on Tuesday on the 14th day of Lama Tendi Sherpa, former secretary-general of the committee demise. Late Sherpa died on November 25. 2021. He was the president of the Nepal Basketball Association and also the former vice president of the National Sports Council.
On the occasion, President of the NOC Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha, General Secretary Nilendra Raj Shrestha and Vice Chairman and Executive Director Chaturanandaraj Baidya, and other officials of various associations paid floral tributes to the late Sherpa.
Tendi Pasang Sherpa, Father of Late Sherpa and Nepal Basketball Association Acting President Bhim Singh Gurung talked about his contribution to Nepali sports at a program. NOC President Shrestha praised his contribution towards carrying the Olympic movement when he was the secretary-general and gave condolence to the family of late Sherpa.
