The 24th Executive Board meeting of NOC by the newly elected Executive Committee, held on December 29, 2024 under the Presidency of Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
Following Decisions were made:
1. For the successful completion of the election of this committee on December 28, 2024 heartfelt thanks are extended to:
a. The coordinator of the Election Commission, Advocate Basant Bahadur Basnet, along with Advocate Sanjib Kumar Acharya and Advocate Indu Karki.
b. Dr. Victor Hosjar, the online election system service provider.
c. Mr. Sonam Karma Tshering, the Secretary General of the Bhutan Olympic Committee as an Observer, representative of South Asian Olympic Council.
2. In recognition of their significant and continuous contributions to Olympic movement, the following individuals have been nominated as Honorary Vice Presidents in accordance with the Constitution of the Nepal Olympic Committee:
a. Deepak Harsh Bajracharya, President of the Nepal Judo Association.
b. Tulsi Thapa, President of the All Nepal Kabaddi Association.
c. Ratan Kumar Tandon, Former President of the Nepal Weightlifting Association.
3. It has been decided to delegate the authority to Nepal Olympic Committee Vice President Chaturananda Rajvaidya to take legal action on behalf of the Nepal Olympic Committee in any court as required.
Finally, the Committee expresses its gratitude to the National Federations affiliated with the NOC, all employees, the technical team, and the journalists who supported the election process of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
