Four athletes represented Nepal in the 9th Winter Asian Games Harbin 2025. Among them, Mr. Saphal Ram Shrestha secured 29th place in the men's slalom event. He completed both runs in 1 minute 58.86 seconds. Out of 39 athletes who finished the event, 2 athletes failed to complete the second run, while 4 were not selected for it. In the first run, 11 athletes could not finish, including Nepalese athlete Mr. Chowang Mingyur Tamang.
In the women's slalom event, both Nepalese athletes completed the competition. Ms. Debora Timalsina finished in 34th place, completing both runs in 3 minutes 7.06 seconds. Ms. Laxmi Rai finished in 35th place, clocking 3 minutes 22.13 seconds. A total of 35 athletes completed the women's event. Three athletes failed to finish the second run, while another three were not selected. In the first run, two athletes failed to finish, and two others were not selected at all.
Meanwhile, Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha presented medals to the winners of the men’s alpine skiing slalom and the women’s 5-kilometer cross-country events. Shrestha also serves as the chairman of the OCA Sports and Environment Commission of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
