On the invitation of the President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council along with the delegation met today at the Nepal Olympic Committee Head Office for a presentation and briefing of the Olympic Movement regarding the Olympic Structure and other pertinent aspects of the Olympism. During this special function, sports equipment under the OCA Vision 2012 was also distributed to Boxing, Taekwondo, Shooting and Archery federations.
Both the President of NOC Nepal – Mr. Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan and Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Mr. Yuvraj Lama expressed their views to further strengthen the Olympic Movement keeping in the best interest of Athletes who would be representing Nepal in the International arena. Similarly, Secretary General of NOC Nepal Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha expressed his confidence that initiatives takes by NOC and NSC will bring about pragmatic changes in the best interest of the sporting movement in Nepal.
Present in the special function, were the NOC Nepal Executive Members, National Federation representatives, Athletes, Coaches and Sports Journalist.
