Secretary General of NOC Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha and Vice President of NOC Ms. Jyoti Rana travelled to Bahrain for the OCA Gender Equity Seminar in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) on 30th and 31st December, 2022.
The Seminar feature presentations and discussions from the OCA Gender Equity Committee, IOC Gender Equality & Inclusion Unit, and different international speakers and high-level representatives from the
IOC, OCA and BOC explaining the importance of Gender Equality and the main role and responsibilities of the National Olympic Committees.
The Seminar will highlight the key role that NOCs and NOC Gender Equity Committees can play to help achieve Gender Equality in sport and society, outline potential actions that can be taken and feature
Personal experiences from different stakeholders that are working to advance this topic.
