Nepal Olympic Committee organized a program to extend a warm welcome to the newly appointed Minister of Youth and Sports, Honorable Teju Lal Chaudhary. During the event, General Assembly Members of the NOC, along with Presidents and Secretary Generals of various sports associations, gave their best wishes to Minister Chaudhary for a successful tenure.
During his address, Minister Chaudhary emphasized that the development and success of sports associations would be a key indicator of his tenure's effectiveness. He urged the Presidents and Secretary Generals of the associations to dedicate themselves to their roles, ensuring the growth and prosperity of Nepalese sports.
"The development of the association will define my tenure," Minister Chaudhary stated. "I request all the Presidents and Secretary Generals to do their best in promoting and advancing sports in our country."
President of the NOC, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, highlighted the importance of collaboration among the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Sports Council, and the Nepal Olympic Committee. "For significant decisions in sports, it is essential that all three bodies work hand in hand," President Shrestha remarked.
Secretary General Nilendra Raj Shrestha said "If we have strong National Associations without disputes, it will directly benefit our athletes,".
