The tittle of the Awards is named as NOC AWARD-2023. This will be executed every year.
The award will be contested among the member association of NOC.
The winners will be awarded with Trophy, Certificate and Cash prize of Rs. 50,000.00 (fifty thousand)
There will be a Jury Committee comprising of the representatives from all related association and other personals. The jury will consist of eleven members under the Chief of Panel of Judge nominated by the Panel of Judge.
The Jury Committee will make NOC Award Manual for the guideline and criteria of the respective awards.
The Award Distribution Ceremony will be conducted on June 23 on the occasion of Olympic Day each year.

Presidential Recognition
On the occasion of Award Ceremony “Presidential Recognition” will also be presented. The president will decide the recognition recipient and will inform the Executive Board. The president can amend the recognition categories and will inform the Executive Board. The recognition categories are as follows.

Awards and recognition Detail:
Trophy
One trophy will be design by a famous sculpture for all the categories. The trophy will carry the Olympic Rings and some reflection of Nepal. All the category of the award and the name of the recipient will be engraved in each trophy.
Memento of Appreciation
A memento of appreciation will be made for each category of the awards mentioning the detail of the achievement of the recipient and will be signed by the Chief Guest of the award ceremony, President of NOC, Chief of Panel of Judge and the Committee Chair.
Cash Prize
A cash prize of Rupees Fifty Thousand (50,000.00) will be awarded to each winner. NOC may decide to change the cash prize amount as per the situation and need.
Recognition Plaque
The recognized persons will be presented a plaque and cash if needed.
Panel of Judge
There will be a Panel of Judges to judge the awards. The numbers of the judges will be eleven (11) consisting of both gender male and female. The judges will be chosen from the different areas of journalist, photographer, athlete and different other reputed personalities of the sports and society. The Judges of the panel will decide the Chief Judge of the Panel. The Panel of Judge is autonomous and will not be influenced by any outsider and NOC. The final verdict or result will be final and no changes can be made any. The awards will be judge under the guidelines and the criteria mentioned in this manual or given to them. The Panel of Judge will not cross the boundary and judge confining with in the provided guidelines and criteria. The result of the awards will be kept confidential until the announcement on the award ceremony.
Judging Guidelines and Criteria
There will be the judging criteria and guideline made for each award. The Panel of judge will judge on the base of it. If there is any draw on the result, the chief judge of the panel will decide for the final. The guideline and criteria are as follows.

The journal means articles and news cover of sports of Nepal
It must be written in two languages Nepali and English
The journal must be based on the facts
The article or news must be informative
The article or news must be encouraging
The article or news must be promoting sports in Nepal
It must be publish in all kind of journal like Daily, weekly, Bi-Monthly and Monthly
Multiple number (frequency) of published articles or news will be Considered accordingly
NOC Best Journalist in Multi-Media
The journal means articles and news cover of sports of Nepal
It must be written in two languages Nepali and English
The journal must be based on the facts
The article or news must be informative
The article or news must be encouraging
The article or news must be promoting sports in Nepal
It must be publish in a daily basis or as frequently as possible
The article or news should carry as many photos as possible

The photo must be published in print or social media

The television producers will be entitled for this award.
The production must be on the sports, sportsmen and coaches or any pertaining with the sports.
The production should be informative and encouraging to the sportsmen and public.

Award Ceremony will be organized on the third week of December each year.

Miscellaneous
The guidelines and the criteria will be endorsed and approved by executive committee of Nepal Olympic Committee.
The guidelines and criteria can be amended as the prevailing situation and time, which will have to be endorsed and approved by the executive committee of NOC.
