Farewell to the table tennis team KATHMANDU:
President of the Nepal Olympic Committee Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha on Thursday bade farewell to the participants of the Table Tennis Association participating in the South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships in Male, Maldives.
On that occasion, he also wished the team success. The team headed by All Nepal Table Tennis Association Vice President Dharma Man Bajracharya is going to the Maldives with eight players. The players are Sanyog Kapali, Rubin Maharjan, Sujan Gadal, Ivana Thapa Magar, Bianca Rai, Shubhshree Shrestha, Prince Thapa and Ujwal Manandhar. Jogend Mahara is the manager of the team and Mohandas Basukala is the coach. Similarly, the team official is Pratesh Shrestha. The competition will be held from 9 to 11 April. President of the All Nepal Table Tennis Association Chaturanandaj Vaidya and General Secretary Shankar Gautam will also participate in the meeting of the South Asian Table Tennis Association.
Rajen Maharjan, CEO of Lining Nepal, provided uniforms and sports equipment for the Nepali team participating in the farewell ceremony. General Secretary of the Nepal Olympic Committee Nilendra Raj Shrestha and Secretary Ramji Bahadur Shrestha were also present on the occasion.
