NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to the participants of Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship 2023 in Jakarta from January 5th to 18th on NOC Building. This is a crucial Olympic Qualifying event.
Olympic Solidarity Scholarship holder Ms. Sushmita Nepal will compete in the 10-meter Air Rifle event on January 10th, while Mr. Bipesh Khadka takes on the 10-meter Air Pistol event on January 8th.
The championship not only promises thrilling sporting action but also serves as a pivotal opportunity for athletes competing for the spots in the upcoming Olympic Games.
President Shrestha gave his best wishes to the participants and told them to give their best.
In the program Vice President’s of NOC Mr. Chaturananda Rajvaidya, Ms. Jyoti Rana, Mr. Sunil Kumar Shrestha along with Secretary General of NOC Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha and President of Nepal Shooting Association Mr. Pushpa Das Shrestha were present.
