In a farewell program at the Olympic Building, Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha extended best wishes to the participants of Nepal Weightlifting Association namely Jeevan Gautam (Coach), Ram Sunder Shrestha ( Team Manager), and Sagar Bhandari (Athlete). Invited by the Qatar Weightlifting Federation, the participants will compete in the IWF Grand Prix II, a crucial Paris Olympic Games 2024 qualification event in Doha from December 4th to 14th, 2023.
Mr Sagar, poised for this international challenge, received a send-off full of national pride and support. President Jeevan Ram Shrestha expressed confidence in their abilities, and the nation eagerly anticipates their success on the global stage.
