Farewell for the 6th Children of Asian International Sports Games

NOC held a farewell program for the 6th Children Asian International Sports Games slated to be held on Yakutsk, Russia from 5th July to 17th July.
Nepal is participating in 4 games namely Judo, Table Tennis, Boxing and Taekwondo. The age group for the participants is under 15 years. The Chef De Mission representing Nepal for the event is Member Secretary of NSC Mr. Keshab Kumar Bista. Two players from their respective games and one coach each with their Team Manger are leaving for Russia this Monday, 4th July 2016.
The Chief Guest of the program Honorable Youth and Sports Minister Satya Narayan Mandal wished all the participants with good luck. President of NOC Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha thanked the National Sports council for their help and advised the young participants to be disciplined. He added “this event is the new journey of the way ahead so give your best.”
In the program General Secretary of NOC Lama Tendi Sherpa, members Nilendra Shrestha, Ramesh Kumar Shrestha and Deepak Harsha Bajryacharya, President of All Nepal Table Tennis Association Chaturananda Baidhya were present.
