Equipment handover program in Japanese Embassy in Panipokhari
For the Occasion of 2020 Tokyo Olympics on the aggies of Japanese Government, in "Sports for Tomorrow" program for the development of Ski a equipment handover program was organized in Japanese Embassy in Panipokhari, Kathmandu.
Japanese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Masashi Ogawa Ambassador presented Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha (President of Nepal Olympic Committee and Nepal Ski Association) with Ski Equipment. Their were 12 pair of skis, six pairs of ski boots and six sets of ski wear.
Nepal Ski Association has trained about 15 skiers, and two athletes- one in cross country and one in Alpine Skiing.
President Shrestha expressed his gratitude and said "this equipment will help us to promote our athletes in alpine event"
