Closing Ceremony of Olympic Day 2024
Under the aegis of Nepal Olympic Committee initiated by Sports for all Commission organized the closing ceremony of 2 weeks long celebration (08 June- 23 June 2024) with many sports in different areas. President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha was the Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony.
President of NOC Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha hoisted the Nepalese flag and Secretary General of NOC Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha hoisted the flag of International Olympic Committee.
Demonstration of Boxing and Fencing were shown by the athletes.
The Closing ceremony was held in Nepal Army Sports and Physical Training Center, Rajdal Lagankhel where there were more than 500 participants. All the NOC executive board members, Association members, Representatives from Armies, Police, and different Schools etc were also present.
Chief Guest Honorable Shrestha distributed Token of love to all the associations, schools, different organizations who took the initiative to celebrate this 3 weeks long program and thanked them as well.
In the program the National Army Band performed many National songs and dances from schools, organizations were also performed.
