South Asian Olympic Council meeting about 13th South Asian Games
A meeting was held in Vietnam by the South Asian Olympic Council for the discussions and update of the preparation of 13th South Asian Games which is slated to be in Nepal. South Asian Olympic Council meeting was chaired by Chairman of the SAOC Jeevan Ram Shrestha. Representing Nepal Secretary General of NOC Mr. Lama Tendi Sherpa and Treasurer of NOC Mr. Ratan Kumar Tandan were also present. Nepal claimed that the preparation will be completed for the 13th SAG and will be hosted there.
Sri-Lanka has stepped up to take the responsibility of organizing the 13th SAG looking at the economic condition of Nepal.
Sri- Lanka has made strong points about how they are capable of organizing the 13th SAG smoother. However, Nepal are still determined to organize the event and have been making their own preparations. Nepal will organize a meeting in the 1st week of December in Kathmandu to further discuss about this topic with SAOC.
