MOU Signing between NOC Nepal and The Korean South East Power Company LTD.

The President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha and the Vice President of Korean South East Power Company LTD Mr. Euijoong Youn signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) for the training and development of the athletes of the participants of the Pyeongchang winter Olympic. The Korean South East Power Company LTD donated 10,000 USD to NOC. This Company has also been investing in the Hydo Power Project in Nepal .
For the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Nepal has registered in 2 sports, for Alpine Ski competition our male athlete Mr. Saphal Ram Shrestha is going to participate in Japan for the FIS race and for the Cross Country our female athlete Ms. Manikala Rai is currently participating in FIS race in Finland. The appropriate result of this FIS race will make these athletes eligible for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.
