Anti-doping DCO Certificate Handover Ceremony

The two-day anti-doping test training organized jointly by the Nepal Olympic Committee and the National Sports Council has been completed. This program has been organized targeting the 9th National Games. 


30 people from seven provinces, army, police and APF participated in the training program. Doctors and nurses participated in it. Nima Galsen, instructor and trainer of WADA and SA RADO conducted the program. The 9th National Games will be held in Gandaki province from October 14 to October 20, 2022.


Secretary General of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Nilendraraj Shrestha,  said that there is a lack of skilled manpower for anti-doping tests in Nepal and said that this training will help fill it. He emphasized on 'clean sports' in Nepali sports and said that it is necessary to be aware of anti-doping tests in international competitions.


Training started on Saturday. An anti-doping committee has also been formed under the chairmanship of doctor Nabish Man Singh Pradhan for the 9th National Games.
