On the occassion of 114th Internation Women's Day, NOA orgazined a session for women on Safegaurding in Sports and Women & Sports Commission organized a Falicitation program to honor 2 women Sports Personals.

On the 114th International Women's Day, the Women and Sports Commission of NOC celebrated the achievements of women in sports by honoring two outstanding athletes. Ms. Parbati Thapa, Nepal's first female Olympian in Shooting from the 1988 Olympic Games, and Ms. Ganga Shrestha, a devoted member of the National Sports Council for 34 years, were recognized for their contributions.
The event, attended by two women representatives from 27 affiliated associations, showcased the importance of recognizing and supporting women in sports at all levels. The participants were presented with appreciation letters and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 each in acknowledgment of their outstanding efforts.
Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, President of NOC, praised the awardees for their dedication and encouraged all women to embrace their achievements proudly.
Women and Sports Commission to continue supporting and recognizing the achievements of women in sports across Nepal, ensuring that they receive the acknowledgment and respect they deserve.
 
 
Alongside the felicitation ceremony, the Nepal Olympic Academy organized a session on Safeguarding, led by Mr. Sujan Lal Shrestha, Director of NOA, to promote safety and inclusivity in sports environments.
