MOU signing by Dai Tamesue(Chairman of Athlete Society)
April 8, 2016 Friday The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Dai Tamesue and Nepal Olympic Committee to establish an effective partnership to create a better sports environment in Nepal and promote sports tourism for Japanese market. The MOU was signed by President Jeevan Ram Shrestha and Chairman of Athlete Society Mr. Dai Tamesue. Mr. Tamesue is an athlete of 400 meters hurdle; he was a bronze medalist in the world cup, 2001. He participated in Olympic Games for 2001, 2004, 2008 and also won the Asian Games in 2001. This MOU was signed to establish better relationship between two parties and support each other for the future. NOC tagged athlete Society as “Friend of Nepal Sports” and Mr.Tamesue agreed to provide necessary advice to athletes and trainers in Nepal. Member of NOC Mr. Nilendra Shrestha and General Secretary of NAA Mr. Sunil Rajbanshi signed as a witness for the event. The MOU is affective from 1st May 2016 to 30th April 2017.
