The 7th Annual General Assembly of Nepal Olympic Committee has been successfully held on 25 July, 2014 at Nepal Olympic Building, Satdobato, Lalitpur.
The GA has been inaugurated by the first international athlete Mr. Jit Bahadur K.C. by lighting the Panas (Traditional oil lamp). Mr. K.C. wished for the success of the 7th GA of NOC Nepal. The program was followed by the National Anthem and the President of Nepal Olympic Committee; Mr. Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan welcomed all the GA Members of NOC Nepal, Distinguished Guests (Olympian) and stake holders of NOC Nepal.
In the meantime, on behalf of the National Federations Mr. Ramesh Shrestha (President of Nepal Badminton Association) express his sincere gratitude and warm greetings for the success of the 7th GA of NOC Nepal. At the end of the Inaugural Session, Secretary General of Nepal Olympic Committee, Mr Jeevan Ram Shrestha thank all the GA Members, stake holders and Sports Journalist for their great contribution towards the strengthen of Olympic Movement in Nepal.
Due to busy schedule Chief Guest of the Program Hon'able Youth and Sports Minister Mr. Purushottam Paudel could not be able to attend the Inaugural Session. However he has attended the close session of the 7th GA and gave his short speech.
